I'll admit the name is a bit cheesy, but the YES! line of hotels in Athens, Greece are pretty freakin' awesome. My favorite has to be the NEW one, (wonder what they'll call it when it gets old) by the same descriptive name in Syntagma Square. Having just opened in July 2011, this seventy-nine room hotel embodies humor through traditional Greek themes in its decor. This nod to tradition makes me happy - from the Karagiozides, a mischievous folklore shadow puppet, and evil eyes (matakia) on the wall, to the remnant wood pieces and vintage postcard collections, I may just have to visit next summer.
