Stylin' Photos

Since I'm working on getting a beautiful new website for Cartoules (yep - about five months late) I got to thinking: my product photos are pretty weak. I need a do-over. I mean they aren't terrible, but since I started Cartoules, I've learned a lot about product photography, lighting, and photo editing. Naturally my new website should be pimped out with amazing photography, so for the last few weeks, I've been putting together story boards and gathering props to style my work. Here's just a little preview of some of the new photos with a couple new projects (and I made use of the vintage stamps, remember?)

  1. These look great! This is the exact problem I am dealing with now. I love your props and the lighting is perfect. What is your lighting secret? I have played with different spots in my lawn so that the lighting is different. I did learn the hard lesson of not taking pictures inside. I just don't get enough natural light for pictures to look right.
